The Scenic Hills Church of Christ invites you to join us for our annual Summer Series which is conducted every Wednesday during the months of June, July, and August. The Summer Series is a special program that provides a meaningful time of fellowship with our church family and an enriching study of the Bible.
Each week the Summer Series kicks off with a fellowship meal served from 5:00-6:00pm. The cost of the meal is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. The food is prepared by our members and the menu varies each week. If you will be joining us for the meal then please call our office (850-477-2114) to register.
After the meal, we conduct a Bible study from 6:30-7:30pm involving age appropriate programs, specialized themes, and guest speakers. Children in 5th grade and younger will attend our "Character Challenge" program which involves puppet shows, crafts, and memory work in a series of lessons that will teach them the character traits of a Christian. Teens will attend a class entitled "All of the Devil's Apples Have Worms" which features various speakers addressing the modern day temptations and decisions teens will face. Our program for adults will study the "One Another" passages in the New Testament. The purpose of this study is to discover the Christian's responsibility to the church. Guest speakers will present different lessons related to this theme each week. A schedule of speakers and topics is located below.
