Our youth ministry program is known as the S.W.A.T. Team, which stands for Spiritual Warfare and Training.
The purpose of the S.W.A.T. Team is to prepare our teens for the battles that they will face on a daily basis so that they will please God with their decisions (2 Timothy 2:15), serve as a shining light to the world (Matthew 5:14-16), encourage one another (Hebrews 3:13), develop a personal relationship with God (Proverbs 3:5-6), create life-long friendships (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10), and, ultimately, complete their final objective by entering heaven (Revelation 2:10).
We spend a lot of time training throughout the year with several different methods to meet each of our individual needs, and the following list reveals some of our standard training exercises:
