CONGREGATIONAL FELLOWSHIP

Fellowship Groups:
In order to facilitate church growth and mutual edification, we created 3 main fellowship groups for the adults in our congregation - Forever Young (Senior Members), Empty Nesters (middle-aged members with no children in the home), and Homebuilders (young adults out of college and/or with children in the home). Each group is lead by a couple from our congregation, and their focus is to plan events and projects that will promote involvement and unity within their group. |

Couples Retreat:
As a means of promoting successful marriage, our congregation conducts an annual Couples Retreat for all married couples in our congregation. This weekend get-a-way provides the opportunity for couples to relax from the stresses of everyday life, to fellowship with other Christian couples, to study God's word as it relates to marriage, and to develop strategies for improving the marriage relationship.

MEN'S MINISTRY

Men's Breakfast:
Every month we host a men's breakfast on the second Saturday beginning at 8:00am. The purpose of the men's breakfast is to provide a unique time of fellowship among men that is accompanied by an opportunity to discuss biblical issues specific to being a man of God. The breakfast is prepared by one of our members and costs $2.00 per person. Those who wish to attend should sign up in advance in order to ensure that enough food is prepared. Softball Team:
Our congregation hosts a men's softball team which competes in the church softball league at the Adult Softball Complex on Nine Mile Road during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. The purpose of our softball ministry is to increase involvement and develop relationships among the men and their families in our congregation while also reaching out to include new families into our church.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Ladies Day:
Our women host a Ladies Day every year during the Fall. The purpose of this event is to provide spiritual nourishment and fellowship that caters specifically to the needs of women. It is conducted on a Saturday and consists of lessons presented by a guest speaker, breakout classes, and lunch. This event is free to all participants.

Working Women Bible Study:
Working Women Walking with God (www.God) is a monthly Bible study hosted by one of our members that is specifically geared toward women who are active in the workplace. The lesson for each month is facilitated by one of the attendees and each attendee is asked to bring a finger food to share with the group for dinner. This Bible study is typically conducted on the first Thursday of every month, and it begins at 6:30pm. |
